Black Eyed Pea Jubilee
Our Annual Black Eyed Pea event is held on January 1st each year! This is a beloved, free, family-friendly community music event and potluck that helps to raise funds for the Concert Series and Sage Alley music programming of the year ahead. This four-way exchange brings story to life through the arts. The goal is to bring various segments of the community together through the power of story!
How it works
A TRADITION
The Black Eyed Pea Jubilee has been ringing in the new year in Paonia since 2000 — a long-standing tradition in the North Fork Valley.
A POTLUCK
Bring a dish, grab a plate, and share a meal with your neighbors. Everyone’s welcome and no one leaves hungry.
A MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
A lineup of North Fork Valley musicians takes the stage, all donating their performances to celebrate the new year and the talented artists who call this valley home.
FOR THE COMMUNITY
Year after year, the Jubilee draws the community together on the first day of the year. It’s a great way to start the new year.
